Cosmetic Labsolutions
Cosmetic Labsolutions was founded by David Ludykar, a Swedish cosmetic chemist who graduated from Stockholm University before moving to Berlin and building his career in the cosmetic industry.
Since 2001, David has worked across formulation development, laboratory management, production, quality control and EU regulatory affairs. This broad experience shaped CLS into what it is today: a Germany-based development and manufacturing partner for premium skincare and haircare brands.
From formulation consultancy to manufacturing partner
CLS began as a specialist consultancy for cosmetic formulation, product development and EU regulatory support. Over time, the company expanded into cosmetic manufacturing in accordance with Cosmetic GMP / ISO 22716, allowing brands to move from concept to finished product within one structured process.
This background still defines how we work. We do not see cosmetic development as simply mixing ingredients. Every project is reviewed from several angles: formulation feasibility, sensory profile, stability, production method, claims, packaging, safety documentation and EU compliance.

Looking ahead
By 2027, CLS aims to further strengthen its role as a premium European partner for skincare and haircare brands.
Our focus is on expanding structured development programmes, improving scalable low-MOQ production solutions and building premium product platforms in skincare, scalp care and technically driven haircare.
We will continue investing in efficient laboratory workflows, ingredient documentation, testing coordination and digital project handling — so brands can move from idea to market-ready product with more clarity, fewer delays and less risk.
